Just how big a difference can the backing colour make to an RC Lexan bodyshell? Here's how big!

A silly moment on ‪@RCKickschannel‬ when building the Tamiya Durga (cracking episode, cracking channel! go watch it after this!) when I noticed he painted the shell in a less efficient manner than was needed. When Gav was under time pressure , he made his own life difficult.
This made me think, I take it for granted that years of experience makes this second nature.
first up, is showing the difference a backing colour can make!

Great to see how different backing colours drastically change what we see on the outside. I might have received the hobbynox airbrush and compressor for Father’s Day so I’m really looking forward to seeing more painting videos!

Another video I would like to see is Flo paints over large areas, that is another one that can be struggle with some colours.

There is a bit of a trick to this, to avoid "hot spots" etc 😉

be good to see this done again with a flo colour (i.e. fluorescent Yellow) as sometimes I struggle to make it pop like others. I think number of coats and drying time can make a big difference as well as what you back with?
