just how different will the Khaos Reigns Dlc from the story?

Kinda not feeling sub zero and scorpion being siblings.. i like what they're doing with Mileena. I like them giving depth to characters like Li Mei and Reptile but where the hell is Sonya

The datamining show that this DLC will contain 5 chapters as Aftermath. Upcoming chapters : 1. Cyrax 2. Rain 3. Tanya. 4. WW2 Johnny/Scorpion 5. Sektor. During the Lin Kuei attack against the Shirai Ryu at Scorpion & Harumi Wedding Havik will kidnap Bi-Han. That let Cyrax, Sektor, Scorpion and some chaos versions of the roster : Empress Tanya, Emperor Rain, WW2 Johnny battle against Havik for saving Bi-Han. He became possesed by Havik who made him Noob-Saibot with magic. At the end he will be saved and cured at the Temple of the Element (MK SZ Mythologie stage). No news of Reiko succeding to tame Onaga and General Shao trying to use it for now. Emperor Rain die by protecting Empress Tanya. I guess Tanya, Johnny, Rain, Chaos Havik, Kenshi & Takeda are next seasons of Invasions for skin issue. Next kameos locked : Harumi & Chucky (one guest kameo). Rumor : Shinnok, Kintaro*, Nightwolf, Erron Black, Meat, Moloch, Drahmin. Road to MK2 : Fujin, Daegon, Hotaru, Master Kaï *Weird no shokan on the roster including DLC (Goro : MKX, ,Sheeva : MK1...)

i don't really cover leaks kind of ruins the whole surprise factor when the dlc comes out but why would they cure him when kuai wants to setting things with him for the death of their father and betrayed lin kuei principles kinda weird lol

3:20 I am playing my first time of mortal kombat X right now and i have completed maybe 60% there is a scene where sub zero invades skorpion for a tea, at lin kuei academy, and shows to skorpion truth about his family thru sektors, or cyrax arm that was taken apart. And subzero was again on controll of Lin kuei (even tho frost tried to kill skorpion while they talked). Its weird that sub-zero was fine with keeping frost when, frost is some random female who probably voluntareed her self to be cyborg, so she can be a kryomancer as well. But she has no skills that she learnt she just went straight for the tech, tells so much about her and why she is one of my least favorite characters. She serves no purpose on any game.

if you read the mkx comics in this timeline frost was on of the first initiates of the new Lin Kuei so im sure he just has a soft spot for her and thinks she can be saved maybe in the era shell be a good guy dude

@@AtrioxPrime Oh i didnt even know there was mk comics. :D I am very new to MK community and lore. I bought mk11 first, played it thru, and the aftermath part of it as well. Then played mk1 thru, then startd mk X, had no clue frost was first new lin kuei, i think sub-zero thinks he can change her, but didnt sub say in some mk game after that, that he kicked frost out, and frost was all the time just trying to take over lin kuei and be their new grandmaster, thats why probably she wanted to get kryo powers so badly that she was willing to be cybornized just so she can over throw one of the best leaders of any cland of any time. ?

Oh and imagine all the damage that frost would have costed if she actually be headed skorpion after they invaded skorpion for basically peace talks. if sub-zero was even 0.5 sconds late skorpion would be dead, earthrealm would lose shit ton of their defenders 2 whole clans worth of people would go in war with each other and maybe even civil wars who takes skorpions place and you know its the most ruthless and most missing morals who takes the skorpions throne. And makes everything again so messy between shirai ryu and lin kuei, that i dont think at that point you can bring them ever together again.

@johnysnoww3831 the thing with scorpion is even if he died he would come back as he's no longer a regular human he's still a specter so he would come back if killed which is why mk11 doesn't make sense to me lol

Imagine how long lasting war between those clans it would last and how many good earthrealm fighter would get killed in meaningless wars exc..

Aftermath hurt my feelings. It was good but seeing a future that actually seemed decent, get utterly ruined by Shang Tsung SUCKED. Terribly. Wouldn't be surprised if MK1 Lui has acute PTSD. And you're right. It does feel like they improvise the story everytime. Its like dude, pick a struggle and refine it. Otherwise you risk pulling a mf starwars. That new trilogy was so disjointed between the three. Its easy to write yourself into a dumpster fire, without a legit direction.

Yeah idk every game seems like a new reset mk9, mk11, mk1 has some kind of reset in each game that's why khaos reigns has me interested because it looks like they're finally gonna continue down a path. Cyrax and scorpion arguing with actual emotion has me excited because dude

Story director at NRS are kind of old and mix Avengers storylines with recycles old MK ones. That made no sense. This DLC will recycle comic storyline with Havik and the Kamidogus. Lazy NRS. I don't want a Shaolin Monks sequel or remaster if they don't want to work. MK1 feel IA and Fortnite based. It don't feel MK except the roster
