Allan didn't leave the NPP because he realized that the party. He was happy when Bawumia introduced him as a member of the economic management team; he stayed in the party and avidly defended the government for 6 and a half years. His surrogate Solomon Owusu jumped from one media house to the other defending the NPP. Allan left the NPP because Akuffo Addo screwed him by skewing the NPP primaries to favor Bawumia. There is no way he would have left the NPP if he had won the presidential slot. Allan has vowed to work with the rubber stamp and corrupt NPP MPs so how different is he from the current NPP?
