It’s not easy to boost production in the military industry. You can’t just hire extra line workers when you get busy, it takes over a year to hire and get a clearance for an employee, often 2 years and lately it’s been long, not short. There’s really no practical way to avoid the delay, unless you want Raytheon and locked, etc, to hire extra workers and keep them on the payroll doing nothing until they need extra help. Almost everyone with a clearance makes 6 digits, btw.
