We are bound by the law the prohibits giving humanitarian aid to UNRWA but the law prohibiting us to giving military aid to states who didn't sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and who interdict US humanitarian aid we're not actually bound by.... Amazing.

Matthew Miller has to be the more skilled liar in all of Washington DC. Seriously, this man is the Michael Jordan of BS. I love how he makes up policy as he goes, even though it's clear no one has even thought that many steps ahead. He makes the lies sound so believable because he states them such conviction. Like, when he compared Assad working with such shady characters as "Iran and Russia" while the US backed "moderate rebels" are ISIS fighters who wanted to play soccer. My personal favorite line was "We respect the work of the ICC..." the pause before the room starting laughing that moment when everyone was thinking.... "Did he really just say that?" Dude, if I ever need a press spokesman, this is the guy I am hiring. Completely shameless. I want this guy in my corner.

the Syrian can count on the Saudis and Turks for help, but if the USA cares about having any influence in Syria, it should not rely only on the availability of Tom and Jerry and other American cartoons for free in Syria. The US is protecting its Kurds allies. The USA withdraw from Syria. This way the Turks can handle this as they see fit together with the Syrian goervnment.
