I lived in Homs right on the opposite side of the university of al baath. I saw the neighborhoods that supported Assad's regime launch so many rockets and bombs from their territories into Baba Amr (a neighborhood from the opposition) and they literally flattened 85% of it down to the ground. We used to smell the burnt hair and nails of those who where apprehended by the militias. They burnt them at the medical facility of the baath university. The smell of burnt hair and nails is still stuck in my head. I saw people get hit with bombs and disappear into thin air. I got shot at so many times trying to film what happened. I will never forget what that government did.
