Probably the nicest sounding sports bikes ever made are the 600/675 Daytonas…..with a pipe on of course. I will never ever forget the sound of the 600 Daytonas with full Arrow race system on going past me on the Sulby straight at the 2003 ISLE OF MAN TT. I honestly had goosebumps !!

If I was in the market for a 600cc bike I would choose this all day long over an R6 or GSXR just for the sound alone! One of these without a cat and something like a racefit exhaust is probably one of the best sounds on this earth 😍. The dash is really nice as well. I pulled up next to a dude on a Daytona 675r on William Nicol at Monte. I was on a little Bashan Xplode 250cc. By the time I got across the intersection, he was at the next robot with both feet planted. The acceleration on this thing is no joke, no joke at all. I was able to catch up to him and indicated that we should race. Haha, there by McDonald's Fourways Crossing. The robot went green and we both took off. I'm going full throttle and he's like barely twisting the throttle but he let me stay in front right until the next robot by Leaping Frog and then he came next to me and put his fist out and we fist-bumped while riding. It was like a movie. I couldn't stop laughing at how cool that interaction was. I love bikers like that, that respect all riders. I've meet dudes on Super Adventures that wouldn't give me a second look. Let's all embrace each other and the common love we share. We all have to start somewhere. When I get a SuperDuke and pull up next to a scooter, I will show love. I was once there. Anyways houtout to the dude on the Daytona that let me beat him in a race on my 250 scrambler! Haha! Peace!

I had a 2011 Daytona 675r. I had to sell it. 2013 Crashed racing motocross broken left wrist, shoulder and surgery I couldn't ride the Daytona in the leaned forward position after all that. Now in 2020 that leaned forward position isn't so bad. I miss my Daytona 😭
