These are good suggestions.😉 If/when things get crazy in the coming weeks, I'd rather stay out of the grocery stores as much as possible. Like minded person here and glad I found your channel.

You're hilarious, I love the comment about the flintstone size piece of meat with a couple small pieces of broccoli🤣🤣🤣. On a serious note, my hubby knows that preparing is needed, but I do all the garden work and animal work. It's hard. He wants to go have fun and travel, but doesn't realize that you can't just up and go during planting and harvesting season. He's not into homesteading much, though he will build structures. But that's pretty much it. It's a little difficult. Been married 31 years. AND I'm doing this with a broken ankle since August, just didn't know it was broken until a week ago, no pain. Weird. Luckily it's been healing well and properly. I've been on it a lot, and I mean, a lot! He did help for the first 10 days, when I thought it was just sprained, and then I was back doing all the animal chores again, plus the gardening and canning. I felt bad he had to do it, because it's more my thing.

@@Becky-tp7gm don’t you feel bad. When you’re down , he should help. You’re not the only one out there preparing like this. I know it’s hard. But one day he will thank you!!! And when he says that,, he’ll probably start to help!

You should ALWAYS be prepared! No one can ever know what is going happen. Just ask the people in Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina. They've never seen anything like what happened Saturday. And they never thought anything like that would or could happen. Fill up some empty jugs with water and go from there.

@@Artiekarns you are exactly right! So many ppl without power and that’s the least of the problem! Some lost houses and lives. So crazy!
