I thought it was illegal to not have a window to the outside due to fire concerns. If there’s a fire, you’re basically trapped in there.

congrats alli! this place is going to be amazing. i think you should totally continue putting holes in walls if that provides you ideal solutions. patching is no fun, but doable, and sometimes what you get while you live there is transformative and totally worth it! i really liked some of the projects you did in your last apartment. can't wait to see what you make of this space :)

Love the striking features of your new place! 😍😍 You can add all these great loft style touches. Would you be able to add long pendant lighting? I’d put mirrors along the low bedroom wall to reflect light. Loving the plant wall idea which would be 👌 Also someone suggested an art wall going up the stairs. You can really have fun enhancing this space. Enjoy your new home x
