This apartment is a whole mood. Love the vintage look and feel of it, and the way you decorated it. It looks and feels like a sanctuary. I especially love the lighting. I can't believe you found such a gem in LA! My husband is a born and raised LA local and we've always been on the lookout for a vintage abode with beams like yours, a great door, and other little quirks. You sound super grateful for your space and you should be - it's fantastic! My husband and I would dream to live in a place as homey and quirky as that. What a dream. Living in a clogged, smoggy, crowded place like LA - the home vibe is so important. We are blessed that we get to live in an apartment on a nice tree lined street that isn't terribly busy and it definitely helps to escape some of the yuckiness that comes from living in a big city. I come from a state that is almost largely a forest so to move to my husbands home town was a big change. Weird and long comment just to say I love your place! Thanks for sharing.

Julia Jędrzejewska I was talking to my friend nick about shooting his house for a home tour and he said he would want to do it in this manner because often times people are hesitant about sharing the layout cause it may be too revealing. I totally get it cause I know a home can be such a private safe space. I think Maddie did a great job sharing but not over sharing.

I think us the viewers forget to really think about the other the influencers perspective and their place in these circumstances and we dont take the time to get why they do the things they do and we just want more. Ive seen one too many influencers safety que compromised because of stuff like this. Im glad maddie shared this with us while still maintaining her boundaries

its for safety reasons! I watch this awsome youtuber called Rhian Hy (yall should check her our shes criminally underrated lol ) and shes not even that big of a channel 90k and she had a stalker and someone break into her home because she revealed too much of her home online and this was when her channel was even smaller. so thats why many youtubers are hesistant to share too much of their home . its sad they even have to think twice of doing videos like this because of it :(

Love all the trinkets and knick knacks. The windows are also so stylish. It's a grey winter here in Toronto, and watching this video makes me dream of summer. Also, 16mm! I love all of your film videos. I've only tried Super 8 before and have always wanted to get my hands on a 16mm camera, but the weight of them looks so intimidating!
