I have just started watching this channel today (yes I did subscribe to this channel as SA is a wonderful, beautiful country indeed, despite its.... oppses and shanininigans (lol), and I'd love to travel SA, and the narrator is good with his words, lol. and with his humour. Very educational - I never knew the story of Phelandaba until today, Nice to see some positives about our stunningly beauiful land South Africa. :-)

Have you tried Leydsdorp, once designated a city by Paul Kruger, now a hunting camp? There’s a Commissioner Street, and Samuel Pepys great-grand nephew is buried there. Unfortunately, the old bar counter was stolen recently - it had Kruger’s signature carved into it.

Hi, yes, people still fish there, but I'm not sure if it's safe to eat. I was warned the water can make you ill. Undoubtedly a beautiful place.
