Driving a 1972 Toyota gives you an appreciation for other classic cars. Al Prodgers meets a fellow adventurer at Orama Roadhouse, Boksburg, Johannesburg. A perfect replica of the iconic car, KITT, real star of vintage TV series, Knight Rider. Owner, Neil Quantrill shows him some of the features and KITT takes them for a drive.

What an experience. This has the be the coolest car in South Africa. It reminds me when I moved to Cape Town. There I met a guy who was the distribution manager for Hyperama. My first visit to Newlands was in Hyperama's box and although I was going to be amongst Province supporters, I was not going to pass up on that one. That Saturday morning I was gifted a Hyperama golf shirt and we had to stop by Tygerberg to pick up the tickets. While I waited for Chris, a colouerd guy walked up to me and said "Ja my lanie, ek wil 'n TV koep man!" (I don't care what anybody says, the Colourdes in Cape Town are the coolest people on this planet and their humour is built-in. They are just so natural) My friend just arrived in time and said to this man he'll honour him with a proper salesman, not a rookie like me. The Coloured guy replied "Dankie dankie. My TV is mos kak oud. Knight Rider skud nog rond in 'n Valiant!!!" That is by far the funniest thing that has ever happened to me
