I like the location of this wonderful hotel. There are many superb restaurants nearby. If fly in at Haneda International, I would love to stay here for couple of nights.😊

I LOVE mentaiko! 😍 And the room rate is fairly reasonable.
@SUKIYAKITravel6 ай бұрын
I love it too! If I have mentaiko, I can eat as many bowls of rice as I want. It's dangerous.
It's a very affordable hotel, and the breakfast looks very good. There were just the right amount of selections. Do they grow any of their veggies in the terrace garden?
@SUKIYAKITravel6 ай бұрын
That's right! The breakfast was just right, not too much, not too little, and the taste was good. It didn't seem like they grew any vegetables on the terrace. Probably...

I've experienced Japan before. I didn't know natto was a thing. I would have tried it. Not all people in the US are the same 😕. I will try a lot of things. I am particular in general. My ex-husband is a Japanese national. I met him when I was in Japan. He hated fish and was allergic to shrimp. Lol lol. I ate as much native foods as I could because I preferred it so I ate eel, cooked squid, sashimi fish, pigs feet, tako balls, etc. I will never be the average American and I am proud of that. 🤭 it keeps me interesting. 😅lol
@SUKIYAKITravel6 ай бұрын
Is this your first time hearing about natto? You're right, not all Americans are the same, as you say! So please give it a try and I look forward to hearing your thoughts. It's strong, but I really love it. It seems to have a connection to Japan, so I hope you'll be inspired by my video. You don't have to be the average American, and that's fine! As long as it's funny, that's OK. Lol

@@SUKIYAKITravel I will see if my local Japanese supermarket carries it. The owner family is from Japan and only carries Japanese foods. It is the only one in Ohio that sells traditional Japanese products. I buy a lot from them including my bread and rice. The other places are called - international markets - but they don't carry everything and some of them, there is too much dust on the shelves. The international market covers Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

First time I tried natto, I disliked it. Was I supposed to add the red and yellow stuff? What were they?
@SUKIYAKITravel6 ай бұрын
I didn't like it at first either, but before I knew it, I loved it. The red one is a sauce similar to soy sauce. The yellow one is mustard. These two make you want to eat more rice. I hope I can conquer it someday 😂
