As a BB main, I second that statement. Any time I am with my destroyer teammates in either ranked or especially CBs, I always look for opportunities that I can take advantage of with my BB help with any DD on DD engagement. This can make or break a match sometimes.

Hey Pq, thanks for all the content. i'm relatively new to the game and have been on a bit if a hiatus from it for the last few months, but this series makes me itch to play again, its exactly the playstyle i was hoping for. i was wondering if ranked is still efficient for grinding tech lines? or if i would be bogging down my progress with ranked play over random battles. PQ, can i just say that it's refreshing to hear someone, with experience, complaining about RNG? So many players, especially the more experienced ones, honestly believe RNG doesn't exist and that everyone has complete control over every single thing in a game.

I dunno, that RAM was INCREDIBLE, AND you survived, kinda makes sense, a 17% health Montana hits just as hard as an 89% health montana, plus the low health bonuses... that marseille turned you into a berserker.

First broadside shot was a miss because PQ shot low. The Schlieffen was turning while backing up. It's hard to see without replay.

Hi PQ! I was just wondering. I find my shots landing short through bug more times than id like, when facing broadsides. Lately ive been aiming a little higher, just below upper belt to ensure it doesnt happen as often. Shells landing lower than rectangle can still do cit damage but you dont have the failed salvos as often. What do you (and guys in the comments) think of this tactic?

Is it true that HE has a better chance of detonating DDs compared to AP?

Yes, since HE deals area damage it allows for better coverage of damage done to each part of the ship; if the DD's magazine is hit directly or is hit via area damage (i.e., loses all of the hp allocated to that section of the ship) it detonates; since a DD is small the HE explosion has a higher chance of detonating the magazine than an AP shell that may not ever hit the magazine.

This ranked season first time since they devided ranked on 3 ligues , I stay in brown , I reach 1st rank and then I quit , until reset , I play two ship Ohio & Shikishima easy and cool , I have Montana but i wont play her as I unlocked her only for SC & SG and after SC rework , I am tired with game , news SC sucks , I literally gewt only 50 signals or 50 green eco bonuses , and I have shit load of both , as SC was my main drive to grind T10 I have lost my will to play , I have 76 T10 13 T11 I put it on sale , but no one want to buy accounts :/

I was watching the whole thing, but also, reading all the messages in the chat in the first gameplay, and it's kinda amusing to see, especially the Marseille, saying "PQ gold toxic as usual", when he's stating an opinion about not liking rams instead of a more brawling style. I guess he was watching his stream, because, it doesn't make sense otherwise. Also, after realizing that it was the guy that said hi to PQ at the beginning, it's kinda hypocrite, if you ask me. Let's add another reason to not use the chat in this game I guess. I just I don't get this kind of people.

They need to rework the fire mechanic for BB players so it isnt so frustrating to play against. Get double fire off one salvo, use dc, dc ends and very next salvo sets you on fire again. Hurray

fire mechanic is fine. you just cant brainlessly hit dam con. even on double fire it might not be the best to instantly dam con

@@camerong.5989 I think it should still be skill based but I think the best mechanic would be a toggle ability. Reduced fire duration while active but have a "crew exhaustion buildup". Take it from me fire fighting on ships is exhausting. There's a reason we rotate the hose. But I have been on fires where you rotate enough to be back on the nozzle and still tired from the first run. It gets tough. So IMO do that. If you leave it on too long it gets a long cooldown. And then if you toggle it off have it recover slowly so if you manage the crew properly you can get a few minutes of activation. That way if you have several HE spammers working over your super structure you can toggle on when you need it to reduce fire damage and fire duration until you can reposition.

At 6:12 idk why you tried to get a cheap shot off on Schliff. He was actively turning so your waterline shot was bound to fail. You complained about how Battleships work and that wasn’t a battleship fail. That was you not aiming correctly because the next salvo where you aimed slightly above the waterline yielded 20k. It’s whatever tho.
