I always say this to people "Nas is the most underrated rapper of all time" I mean seriously underrated. He is celebrated but not really UNDERSTOOD. This was recorded in 95, nobody was rapping like this in 91 and you can tell by his voice, flow and rhyme scheme. He didn’t know AZ in 91, he also references Raekwon and they didn’t meet until 94. The only pre-illmatic songs we’re sure of on that demo tape are Number One With A Bullet, I’m A Villain, Just Another Day In The Projects, Nas Will Prevail.
