I can't confirm but what I've heard, if the very last city of a Civ is liberated rather than razed or kept, you don't get the "destroyed Civ" grievances.

Good episode! I've tried Norway a couple times, but their play style is different enough that I wind up treating them like a vanilla civ, instead of exploiting their strengths.

EVERY TIME I think you're cheating or using hax or something, I need to go back and pause and find out that, no, you just have a Great General, which is why your foot soldiers have 3 movement. I don't know why I never find much use for Great Generals... I gotta practice with Domination more.

The Idea comes too late but kill the bottom cities and then liberate Geneva, gives you era score for killing her and reduces grievences

It’s just well thought out roads and trade routes, not to mention using things like berserkers +4 movement in enemy territory and a tonne of horsemen haha

That is a feature of the base game that was added in the June update. There should be a checkbox in the gameplay settings

I don't get it man, I played a deity game and I was at war with Egypt and when i played my game she had like 8-9 charior archer unique units, a bunch of archers and some warriors on like turn 40 and I ended up losing my game even tho I always play on deity and when you go to war against egypt in your game she has what 3 crossbowmen? Life man...

I think you have to adapt to the situation. Last game when potato was playing with Persia and at war with greece. He was winning the war but reach a choke point where his units were at a disadvantage. so decided to make peace with them. and then came back 20 turns later with upgraded army and completly destroyed greece. In this video u can see he retreat his army to a favourable position even though he could push forward.

@@nayaung7106 Nope sometimes you simply can't, it was early in the game and egypt just outproduced me to death very rapidly. Some Deity games are just unwinnable .
