Dear Diane, Je t'écris en français étant française 😉 J'ai eut 30 ans tout juste cette année, maman d'un petit garçon de 4 ans et belle maman de 2 grands gaillards de 14 et 17 ans (mon mari a 11 ans de plus que moi). Nous sommes une famille très unie et heureuse ❤ Néanmoins je suis extrêmement angoissée de nature et je peux faire une crise de panique si j'ai un peu trop de retard dans mes lessives ou autre broutilles du genre qui ne mérite pas autant d'investissement émotionnel de ma part. Après une dépression post partum très violente, et un long chemin pour en sortir, je reprends aussi le chemin d'un travail à temps plein. Tout cela fait beaucoup mais ton énergie et tes vidéos sont en une source inestimable de sérénité pour moi!! Toutes les autres "méthodes" pour s'organiser et ne pas se laisser déborder par les tâches quotidiennes sont toujours très exigeantes de nous et ne faisait que le rajouter du stress. Ta façon de l'aborder est très bienveillante et nous ramène a l'essentiel : profiter de la vie !! Personne ne se souviendra si nos plaintes avaient un peu de poussière dessus 🤭 En faire un peu tout les jours pour éviter le chaos et se sentir bien chez soi c'est très suffisant. Je suis tes vidéos régulièrement car tu m'aide a garder un mois positif et surtout pas trop exigeant avec moi même ! Ta joie de vivre, ta simplicité et ta gentillesse sont un exemple incroyable ! J'aspire à te ressembler quand j'aurai ton âge, tu donnes envie de vieillir ❤️! Merci infiniment de ton partage, une bouffée de bien-être pour moi et ma maison ❤️ Pleins de bisous de Bretagne, Salomé 😘

I can't watch diane with out getting stuff done. I'm on limited movement have some real down days due to some health issues and yet she give me strength to do things for future me. Bc I might feel worse later.. It happens. Diane has helped me change my life just by watching her videos for a few years..❤ the lack of clutter helps me have more time to tend to my health conditions and my house is usually company ready. I used to be a major mess.. Like absolutely unlivable piles everywhere no clean space to sit or eat or breathe. I wish I had before and after photos. It's mind blowing 🤯🤯

Diane, I really like seeing the variety of intergenerational friendships you have. These days so many folks are stuck on hanging out with people in the same age group/“season of life”, and I think they miss out greatly not being exposed to perspectives of folks older/younger/from different walks of life.

I have hung out with various ages all my life. In my 20s I was in a running club and the oldest in our group was 75+ and the youngest 17. It was a great atmosphere . Also I play in a windband although we now struggle attracting youngsters though some teens started before the summer so let's hope they stay!

I have embarked on the Swedish Death Cleaning process and have decluttered most rooms of the house and now am in the garage! Yesterday I tackled boxes of letters and scrapbooks. Not a lot I wanted to let go of but I managed to find several things and felt I accomplished something. The project continues!

Absolutely feel as though I’m having 15 minutes with a friend. Today I will exercise myself and my little dog by having a 20 minute walk. My kitchen is the cleanest it’s been for ages because my husband has been away since Sunday 😊 I’ve got our dinner ready as I had Moussaka I’d made in the freezer. When I get back from my walk I’m going to make cheese scones - the recipe book is out ready. My next bit of declutter is getting some gemstones out to give a friend when she comes next Monday. She took some last time and she’s finished off some of my jewellery that have been waiting at least three years. Lovely to see you Dianne ❤

Hi Diane! I was born in England and have lived in the US since 1979. I call Texas home! Great information! This morning, I had 3 minutes left on a timer for a dish I was cooking. I used it to put a pair of shoes away, make the bed, and start a small load of laundry. I surprised myself! 😄

For anti-procrastination day, I began my strength training routine by lifting hand weights while watching your video. I have been putting this off for some time because I don't enjoy it but it is important for my health. I really enjoy your upbeat and positive attitude. Today I sorted out my handbags. It sounds daft but when I decluttered I sometimes got overwhelmed with what to do with it the items that it puts me off. So getting organised with my 3 boxes has been a great help.

Greetings from Austria ❤ We did not go on vacation so I spent some money on (expensive) scented candles which I light when I am done with my daily routines and my zone work. The pink and blue colours really look lovely on you. I just decluttered an ivory blazer that I never wore, everytime I tried it on it made me look washed out and also a cream and black sweater that was lovely but when I wore it on probation it just wasn't "me". I am type 4 in DYT and maybe type 2 secondary .I really like blazers on other people they always look so put together but I find them constricting when I try to wear them. I prefer a longer sweater that go past my hips, maybe it is because I am short, 5ft. on a good day and the blazers cut me in half.I will have to be more discerning in my future purchases, easier said than done😊. Where I live in Canada there aren't a lot of options in shopping for clothes especially when you are petite, the shops carry styles that focus on a different age demographic. Yeah to 3 times a week videos, really looking forward to them. Watching your videos give me the encouragement to let things go without feeling guilty even if they haven't been worn. Thank you.
