Everything from breath control extraordinaire, to Billie's ability to go from singing to talking within lyrical lines, as well as bringing forth emotional output on a level that no other singer has ever been able to match. This is because Billie actually lived the pain you hear her mention in her ballad singing and, luckily for us, Angelina is able to tap into it to the point where she makes the listener believe she actually lived the pain she exhibits vocally.

My major point is: She did this song a capello at 7, she's repeating it in studio with Norway's most prestigious band at the age of 11 - and she is obviously having a blast, singing a song she has always loved, in a secure setting (her mor, her mormor and her final words are telling: Det var kjempebra (it was GREAT!).

The judges knew after this performance that Angelina was the front runner to win Norway’s Got Talent, and when she won it was with 46% of the votes out of 10 acts in the finals. The judge Omar talks about observing Angelina working with the musicians to arrange their accompaniment of her for the songs she performed in the semifinals and the finals, and that’s when they knew she was a prodigy!

When she sings for us it is a real treat! This particular video in the studio has been unanimously distinguished as one of the 'Great' ones. What's so remarkable about Angelina and her repertoire is years from now when she is widely heralded as the greatest singer/ actress (?) on the planet, people of all ages will want to see a video like this one when she was so young. Going back in time to listen to Angelina is not something 'nice to do because she was so cute'. Oh, she was cute, for sure, but these recordings are literally collectors items and WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN and played over and over by each generation of Angelina Jordan 'angels'!

This was her recording her 1st album, It's Magic," with the Norway Military band in Nov 2017 (11 yo). The album was released in June 2018 (12 yo). The whole album is unbelievable & includes her first 2 original songs, What is Life & Oslo.

A little correction. This is not a rehearsal but footage of the recording of the album. Rehearsals are not done in recording studios as time in them are very expensive. Several recordings of each song are made and faults are remedied in post edit by mixing the available takes.

A perfect take can be spoiled by a cough.. a toppled trumpet mute, rustling of sheet music or a pencil falling from a stand. It's a good thing they are in separate rooms 🙂

Angelina just turned 18 years and is collaborating with Toby Gad a German born multi Grammy song writer and since both are now LA based they have cowritten new songs. Piano diaries version of Bad Valentine has reached #1 on Norway jazz iTunes Charts and #5 in Germany and USA in the past month. It could be a Grammy contender..7 It’s her best original IMO but she has a pop version but many prefer the latest jazzy piano with video in the desert ❤❤

Both were when she was 8, one is the same one you’ve listened to from NGT, but the music was added to her great acapella, and the other was in a TV show called Lillyhammer later on that year. It's totally amazing to see Angela at 7 years old with all the competitors behind her, the judges in front of her, step up to the microphone by herself singing acapella and nailing it pitch perfect. So confident and poised. It blows my mind to see what this young girl could do. She's a natural on stage and singing live. That is for sure. But , the older version that you put on. I think when she was probably 11 or 12 it was totally amazing in the studio to see her. Just step up to the mic, have the lyrics on her cell phone and nail another emotional fantastic jazzy performance of this song was so delightful to see.
