Terminal land was reclaimed from the River Mersey mud flats in the 1950s and terminal opened in 1960 as Shell Oil and Stanlow. The large warehouse unit beside Cammell Laird construction is 2023-24 for Peels Ports and Tranmere Oil was noted as the only objection to development. Just clicked on your site again and very interesting, as i live a mile away, and cycle past this site quite often, always wondered why one tank had a geodasic roof, eg to stop petrol evaporating i know now, also the mersey ferry passenger carrying boat across river goes past the terminal and some huge boats dock there to unload fueloil As for the pipe linking tranmere to Stanlow it used to under the river bed, but burst a few years ago so was relayed slightly inland. Great responce from the security chap and the chap in the overalls,very freindly, and i think youve sold the idea of a drone to one of them, great pictures as well. Thanks.

You can fit a blue light on any vehicle. The legislation does not allow you to use it though unless you are an authorised emergency vehicle. Having a blue light fitted to any other vehicle will attract the old bill like flies around a dog turd even if you do not use it.

I really enjoyed that video. We have now all seen the confrontation loads of times, It has taught me how to deal with it when I fly my drone and take street photography so thanks DJ. But the Gentleman that explained the site and process was excellent. It was really interesting I learnt about something I knew nothing about. Great Job! By now companies should re-assess their way of dealing with photography and drone. A bit of friend information a good attitude also lets them assess the situation. Ha I was questioned while drone filming I told them i was from the council and they were planning to tidy up the area i was filming they were delighted! Damn I lied! I’ve got a MAVIC mini, two Phantom 4 Pro’s with standard controllers and a Plus controller as well, and one Phantom 4 standard along 9 total batteries for the Phantoms. Got my commercial license here in the states recently and been looking around the area on Google maps for places to go audit and it’s pretty slim pickins here as they talk the talk about threat levels but very few actually have security. We do have a new Amazon facility though!!!!

Yes, it was only yesterday that another example came into the inbox. Pasted here Hi Dj audits I am a long term follower of yours and enjoy your work. I think it prudent to write to you and tell you how your work has been very useful in my line of work. I am an environmental health officer at a local authority in Northamptonshire and recently we have been investigating a complaint about noise from a data center on our patch. Our efforts hit a dead end as we could not find a lot on this centre and without the necessary information we were stuck. Then I thought, surely Dj audits wouldn't have done something ton this place, and boom I found it!! Your film was absolute gold for us, we could see the extent of the plant on the roofs, the layout and all possible sources of noise. Besides it was a great video as it was fascinating to see the endless layers of security. So, thanks and keep doing a great job.
