I do think he's the best mate for her -- he's a very mellow Turkey Cloud and would be a good mate. She's still quite young, but I think she'll come around. Randall should work on sharing the berries with her instead of scarfing them all... If he can show that he's a 'provider' instead of the Scoop Guy, then he may win her over.

OMG. So Funny! Betty knows who feeds her berries and grooms her ... Even Top Turkey Randall is a distant #2 compared to Scoop Guy. Love that Slate is still running interference for you, JD; those dance moves were just enough to get Randall's attention turned away from you and Betty. But it's good to see she can set the tone on when she is approachable, and won't put up with nonsense even from Puffy Clouds trying to ruin Coffee Hour. Watching in Slo-Mo, it's amazing the catch all the details of the encounter; Betty's chirp and Dead Stare Down before the snood pull, her head bob and 2nd trill to catch Randall's attention and admonish him. He gets 'tall' and she backs up a bit and steadies herself - never breaking eye contact, and then a LOOOONNNGGG trill as a final warning shot, with her chin held high. Randall lowered his head a bit then, but was still steadfast and wouldn't back up, and then BAM! Snood Pull!!! As Randall's head came down after she let go, Betty pulled back and turned away to protect herself, but Randall's a good boy, despite not reading the room, and didn't retaliate. Betty lets him know she is DONE with the turn of her tail, and Randall is dismissed. Poor Randall looked So Shocked! 'But But But Betty! What about all those berries we shared!?!' His ego will recover and perhaps he'll share some berries with Betty in the future to show he's a provider, instead of Gobbling them all.
