Morning Time With The Birds And Some Quality Turkey Time

Here come the birds! All of the birds are here to say good morning! I cannot stop laughing at the running ducks, their little legs are moving so fast.
Good quality quiet time with a nice group. The ducks in the background are ridiculous. We get some nice quality turkey time to close it out. Jimmy, Randle, and Slate all chasing sweet little Scarlet around.

I had one as a pet back in the day, till I came home one day from class and my mother had donated him to a public estuary. Sadly, a week later Herbie was missing never to be seen again. Chickens, especially the Plymouth (aka the speckle ones hens make really good therapy animals because of how docile they can be which makes it sad alot people still see them as farm/food animals.

A truly FUN DAY on your homestead dear buddy, such an AWESOME sight to see Randall, Slate and Jimmy strutting around, with their wattles and snoods all so colorful, the turkey hens are the total opposite to the toms, they're so mild mannered and humble, love the guineas darting all over the place as well as watching the chickens and even Juarez make the dashes with their little feet, for a second I thought he was gonna take an afternoon delight with cheeks, but no, as for the ducks and geese, the first are fairly quiet but here comes Steve gotta make hisself known by how tall and NOISY he is! Today in the open air market they had some baby polish, I take it Birdie Sander's is a Polish? Because that same wacky hairdo Birdie has, so do these chicks, most of 'em were Birdie's color except one which was the brown of DD, DD so complacent and humble this day, who'd a thought that just days before she ran off with a whole rib! LOL....thanks buddy and greetings from Mexico! :)
