The Glasgow Subway is due to get its new trains from next year. I always wanted to go to Glasgow just to ride on the Subway.

It is only a short while ago that I discovered Glasgow has a very small Underground system (one small double track circle line) and that it is one of the oldest in the World. And apparently it is going to get full automatic new trains in the very near future.

It is so tiny! The platforms and the trains and the tumnels! I would really like to see that. 🤩🤩🤩

My wife and I have recently returned from a short stay in Glasgow. We loved the wee tube trains, although they are not that handy for the tourist destinations. We had a fair walk from Partick to the Riverside Museum, then again on our return, this time from Kelvingrove Museum, as we had to walk to the Kelvinhall station. £3 for a whole day wasn't bad though on our free Smartcard, which hads been posted to us before our trip to Glasow.

Never having been on the Glasgow Subway, this was interesting to see, thank you. The various grinding noises did keep me awake, though.... :)

I presume you were filming with an iphone. When I tried filming inside a train (the carriage was empty at the time) with a camcorder a driver on the platform got on and ordered me to stop. Apparently "they" don't allow filming on the system. I suppose they just about tolerate using a phone.
