2:38 It's okay man, bleed is not that good on huntress because she can't stack it well especially on Strafe M1, it's also not that good on Flurry because of the big downtime between sets of shots.

Also with the lower proc coeff on flurry, the bleed is less likely to trigger and lasts less long.

I`m not sure if you`d be still reading coments here, but i have aquestion. Are mods allowed in eclipse runs? I heard some of them stops your progress, but works fine, when you already on E8, since you have nothing to score anymore. I rly want faster interactions, but each win is a hard climb for me and i don`t have much of free time rn to make tests myself

i heard theres some that have stopped progress as well, but specifically QoL mods like Actually Faster (faster interactables), Stage Aesthetic, etc. work fine when youre climbing eclipse and doesnt stop your progress 👍

@qbue i highly recommend Disputed Origin's guide on Eclipse. although Eclipse is meant for more experienced players, basically all the tips in that video can apply to lower difficulties too. it's really well put together and really informative, it helped me a lot when i first started playing the game

I mean, she has great mobility, decent burst and sustained damage, a 1.0 proc coefficient on her m1, and built in crowd control with her secondary. I don't think that she sucks in comparison to the others, and she's definitely not worse than rex on e8

E8 Rex is just a lesser mando/captain + ease for deathmark makes him okay, huntess just suffers from the same overreliance on items that rex/mando have, but doesnt scale as well as they do with them, which alongsides the lack of burst/AoE just makes her too reliant on RNG to pull off a win

personally her mobility made things way easier for me and makes me think shes still better than mando and rex but i agree with her needing items to succeed. i personally think her scaling is alright though with a 1.0 proc but needing a lot of decent items in the first place really does hold her back edit: also ballista is a decent burst option. just not as reliable since its also kinda item dependent imo

@@Sogudu Nades is what truly makes Mando shine, alongsides almost all non damaging skills on rex (basically the arrow rain m2 and the default shift, fruits are garbage, so we dont use them)

trust bruv, commando and huntress are better than rex, with huntress being more so by a more significant margin. in a game where movement is everything and you can easily get one tapped by random crap, huntress provides a really strong mobility skill (blink/phase blink) compared to commando and rex. rex on the other hand has a really wack mobility skill; it can sometimes be a detriment cause you surrender your momentum to it similar to wax quail, with the added disbenefit of you having to look in the opposite direction in order to launch yourself forward. not only that, but his mobility skill cant break his fall when he reaches a certain velocity unlike huntress or commando. regarding the load out you stated, yuh running his two defaults and the root is the most goated loadout, because it is the only loadout that makes the e8 run less of a nightmare. hence why id say that rex is only goated on monsoon, where he can constantly churn out his two way better alt skills (mortar and hp knock back skills) like a butter factory on steroids. since those alt skills give him permadmg on e8, it ain't worth it to run them even tho they provide more benefit in terms of dmg. not only that, the healing kb skill is halved due to the e5 modifier, which makes it even less of an option to use. on the other hand like my boy sulchie mentioned, huntress' m2 is a strong cc skill, paired with her mobility makes it really good to clap weak annoying enemies like wisps and blind pests. commando got phase blast to help, and imo they both have better anti-air options than rex cause his projectiles travel slower than commando's and his m2 is only really useful on the ground. rex also got a lower proc coef than huntress' flurry (rex is 0.5 x3 huntress is 0.7 x3 + random crit crap). regarding builds tho you spit fax on how she legit really needs items to succeed, however rex imo needs to focus on much more regarding items. since huntress alr has a strong mobility skill, she doesnt need speed as bad (emphasize as bad cause obv everyone needs speed items bruh) as rex. rex struggles super hard with mobility similarly to commando, the only thing really separating them is their mobility skills. you right with the fact that rex do got 2x debuff compared to everyone else cause root and proj, but legit he dont got a way to proc bands. commando with nades and huntress with ballista can pop bands, while rex cant pop bands unless he got shuriken or some other crap to get him above the min dmg requirement. all 3 of em got smth in common with builds tho; they all do jack dmg unless you got a god build for em. now onto the most juicy crap of all; his hard counter with eclipse. my boy rex got his cheeks spread and glazed by hopoo when they were making the eclipse game mode. his whole gimmick with his alt skills is that he spends money to make money, big bank take lil bank; they do a crap ton of dmg and heal him at the cost of his health. e1 ain't so bad at first, mans just gotta heal up a bit right? then legit e5 comes in and then he begins to bend over... his mortar, hp kb, and root all begin to have a much more drastic cost due to the fact that you cant make back the bank as fast. this is why the defaults are way better aside from root, cause you dont got a chance to spam that mortar or use your mobility skill offensively against enemies. shout out to root to sticking with the homies until the end... then he gets clapped by the e8 modifier and gives you 5-10% permadmg resulting in you having to use it much more situationally. all love tho mans, dont take this whole 5 paragraph essay to heart tho, this is just my opinion likewise with yours. if you read the whole thing, good job. ima give you an a+ in comprehension. if you're wondering why this is 5 paragraphs I was planning for this to be a short comment but then I got carried away and my thoughts just started turning like the wheel of fate. ig im just passionate about writing how much hopoo likes to clap the cheeks of a plant robot. once again tho mans, all love.
