The flexible bar is called a halo device in real life it comes up above the helmet and protects from debris and if the car rolls the drivers head won’t hit the ground

The modified 1x1 with the peg are being used as suspension as usually the light gray plate wouldn't be there. It would be the suspension and the steering rack. The I-Pace Trophy is actually the most realistic as the Panasonic cant have the open air intakes the real car has. Also the Panasonic has a beautiful diffuser. PS. The flex tube round the driver has to be leaving on the T piece. And its called a HALO. Its been implemented to help reduce the risk of injury in the event of a crash/flip

Odd that they went 8 stud on cars that are essentially race cars that only usually have 1 seat for a driver, would be more useful in city cars, although then they don't fit the roads

When I got mine it didn’t have 1 of plastic wheel part (I think it’s called a rim), it was swapped out with a weird torso part! Probably cuz it is new but idk, pretty disappointed but gonna get it refunded and swapped out with another one.

My only gripe about the new Speed Champions sets is how they’re massively out of scale for minifigures now (not that the old ones were too much better). Take a look at an actual photo of the i-Pace and you’ll see what I mean. I’m also curious how this set costs $30, the Lamborghini set costs $50, and the individual cars cost $20. So what is the value of these cars? $15, $20, or $25? Hey Lego, inconsistent pricing loses sales!

The female driver is wearing an Alpinestars jumpsuit as visible by the logo with the three "stripes" shooting out from the round-ish "a". It may or may not be licensed but amazing attention to detail on the Suit. I am a huge car guy and a casual Motorsport fan. The flex tube on the F-E car is called a halo, it is used to protect the driver, usually connected to this 3 way bar connection in front of him. The four modified tiles with the bar ends are most likely supposed to represent the suspension and axles

It would be nice if Lego would make the sidebuilds be one big USEFULL thing if you collect every Speed Champion set of 1 year.. So you can eventually have a complete pit lane or pit box, or something that is playable, or good for displaying the cars.. Instead of a traffic light with one set, a loose windtunnel with the other... Make them "combinedable" if you have all sets..
