I used to plow my road with a Farmall Super C. Nothing more pleasant than going under a snow filled tree banch and have it fall down your neck. Also setting your butt down a frozen metal seat made sure you were awake. Good ol' days. I really like my pickup for plowing these days.

Happy Birthday Hillary, love live cam ...slow it down a little.. live cams are great for people that can't hit the channel button. Cable shuts off the TV. If no one hits volume button. If someone is disabled, they can't hit that button..live cams make people more peaceful..they might have worked on a farm .remember their younger years. Most of the time you can only find ocean noise to sleep with for 8 hrs. Thanks Again

As I watch this video while having my morning coffee in my glider rocker and a winter storm outside the window , it takes me back to my youth. The farm smells, sounds and sights come vividly to mind. I remember sitting in our barn on a winter night with the hurricane lantern burning and just listening to the cows eating while I enjoyed the peace and tranquility. Thanks for bringing me back to those times. Keep up the amazing videos.

Yep, as soon as you asked what could possibly be done with six inches on the ground, I started humming the Wagner. It is the only thing majestic enough to accompany the valiant work of the little tractor. What a stroke of luck to find that bolt. Sounds like Hilarie had a lovely birthday with peaceful snow, special lunch, and satisfying chores. Many happy returns of the 32nd, which does seem to return about this time every year. I loved to hear the sound of the cows munching away on their supper when we turned out the lights in the barn of a winter night. Sometimes when I crawled into bed I would think about them out there, snuggled into their beds in the cozy darkness. Much better than counting sheep. Billy Boy, cross fingers, say a spell, and knock wood, the future of hogs on these Few Acres is up to you, go with God, my man, go with God....
