Hey man.... I just want to say, as one of the runners you'd lap in a race like this.... big respect for your mentality about sharing space and everyone has a fair shot at the racing line. Everyone starts somewhere... I'm in the 21:xx range now, and working to get better every day.

In 3 weeks I will be doing my first Parkrun. I have done 5km on the treadmill last week in 34 minutes and I was close to vomiting (I couldn't even run 100 meters 4 months a go), so I have decided to give myself a bit of time to increase my intervals and raise my vo2 max. I want the Parkrun to be my real first outdoor running experience. I did a brief 1k run around the block and I kept getting literally blocked all the time by traffic and pedestrians (they have every right to use it) and it got pretty annoying So I called it a loss and will attempt the real run with other runners in a large space :)
