The true beauty is all the character learnt from Lois about being moral and responsible people from her. About striking to your beliefs and doing the right thing. Case in point when they all team up and take revenge on Hal's family for insulting their mum.

Something worth mentioning is that Hal on occasion does stand up to Lois when it comes to Francis. When Francis is about to leave to Alaska Lois is reluctant to say goodbye and Hal tells her “I’ve lost a son and gained a baby” which causes her to put aside her anger and grief of Francis dropping out of military school to say goodbye to him.

Dewey was still nowhere near the selfish level of where Malcolm got. That reason was because Francis was able to give him the love and attention that he was lacking from both Hal and Lois. In some ways, he guided Dewey in the rough years of childhood.

@epikgamerchad80562 жыл бұрын
Tuco and Reese should be compared too, tuco is a tiny brained man who is very hostile, destructive and impulsive . Who’s supposed to run one of the most respected cartel’s through a history of family. He can’t run it through intellect like Gustavo so instead he used fear and that ruthlessness to take its place. Same with Reese, he can’t compete with the intellect of his family or control of his mother so he tries his best to keep up with his hostility and destructiveness. Think about it as that one dog Dewey used to get craig, Malcom and Reese to worship him. They didn’t know what the dog was gonna do, they were scared of it constantly. If Reese was at the most of his power in the household that’s how he would be treated. The only reason he isn’t successful is because he is around people who dominate in completely different areas which can contest his. He battles his mom a lot because in some way their tactic is similar. But he also is at his peak during school because he’s around people he can sheep so easily compared to his family( only middle school tho) another thing I like to compare with tuco is how they know they’re power is easy to take so they act out on what they think is someone trying to contest their power. Like how in the yard sale episode Reese broke Malcom’s machine that was worth thousand bucks because he felt Malcom with disrespecting his power and contesting him, tuco killed that man for saying “you better know who you working for” because he felt he was doing the same exact thing.
@ladyfire442 жыл бұрын
Lois got really pissed off with Reese and reasserted her control, reminding him that he had no right to break that old computer that was worth $1300 that Malcolm could've made from that sale to continue Hal's expansion plans for the baby. This made him upset and pointing out that when she put him in charge of the garage sale instead of Malcolm, he was promised the money and had a jet ski on order. Lois tells Reese off she wouldn't had let him buy it because the family needed the money and he was aghast to learn that she wasn't paying him. He demanded to know why she wanted him to head the garage sale and not Malcolm. Lois points out that she wanted Reese to head the garage sale because she thought she needed her help motivating him to be a better person and have self-esteem. She furiously mentions he's going to need it because he's an idiot for throwing away the $1300 in breaking that computer that the family needs to complete the expansion. Reese quickly became intimidated by Lois's yelling, which means it was the only thing he truly understood.

I used to hate Malcolm in the Middle. I still do, but I used to, too. The only thing that makes it unwatchable for me is how it takes hateful, horrible, evil characters and tries to say "Actually, THEY'RE right, and being nice is WRONG! The WORLD is cruel, so YOU have to be cruel too!" I've never found that to hold up in the real world, and I have successfully managed to stay away from every human being that reminds me of the mom in that show. If MY mom was like her, I would never talk to her again after I left home.
