I think it's because right now all the attention is on Falcons. The two most respected, most well known and accomplished players in the entire game are on the same team. It used to be Hal vs Zer0 now it's Hal and Zero together. This ALGS won't be who will win, for most people it's who will beat Falcons? I think it's a bit annoying and I'm not a fan of them myself but I get why people feel that way when I think logically about it.
