depending on Bosch dryer version (mine is Series 8), if you tested it out and the water still stuck in the condenser, there's another step that missed. Open the condenser, throw out all the water. Now turn around the condenser. At the corner that pointing into the machine, there's a black dot button. Pulled that plug out. Turn the condenser back and store that black dot plug that you took out to the right front area where there's a hole for you to store it. DO NOT LOSE THAT BUTTON. You won't be able to switch it back to condenser mode if you lose that button. So that tiny black plug is to allow the water to flow out from the back of the dryer. Please read the guides if you don't understand. Make sure you don't lose any tiny things from that dryer.

Hey @Plate. If you already have the nozzle used up with your washer, maybe you could rig up something to use as a T or Y adapter and get both hoses connected. Thanks for the video, installed the hose no problem but first load we did still filled the drawer container. Am thinking of shortening the hose as right next to sink, any suggestions?
@JustAwesomeCommercials3 жыл бұрын
Hey ozcobbler1. Shortening the hose shouldn't make any difference regarding the water going to the water container instead of through the outlet hose. I know the dryer uses the collected water to help with drying, but I'd have to look up whether that water is held in the container or somewhere else within the dryer itself. I would have guessed somewhere else. I'll have to do some investigating. Anyways, if you installed the hose, it should have just worked. Don't know what to suggest for you. Good luck. I'll update my message if I find out anything more. Cheers.
@ozcobbler13 жыл бұрын
@@JustAwesomeCommercials no problem thanks, have since found a few saying it stores in the container but don't empty and it will go out of hose, will try it next load but if you hear anything different please let me know.
@JustAwesomeCommercials3 жыл бұрын
Hey ozcobbler1. I ended up ringing Bosch to get a solution to your question and this is what I've found out. There is only one place that the water gets held and that is in the water reservoir. (nothing within the body of the dryer) The dryer DOES NOT use the water for additional heating as I read somewhere, but uses a compressor to collect and reheat the hot air already circulating. This is what makes it so efficient. Lastly, there will always be some leftover water in the water container. If there is not enough water in the container to warrant draining it, it won't drain. As you mentioned in your previous post, just run it again and try and watch the lest 5 minutes of the drying cycle to see whether it pumps the water out or not. If it doesn't and the container is full, then you have a fault and need to book a service call while under warranty. Best of luck.

@JustAwesomeCommercials2 жыл бұрын
Hey Novolava. A couple of people who seem to have had trouble with the drain hose working did in fact have the dryer on top of the washing machine. There are recommended height limits for connecting the hose to the laundry sink/drain. You can always give it a go and if it doesn't work or you can't find a solution, just go back to emptying the water container manually. Best of luck.

@JustAwesomeCommercials3 жыл бұрын
Hi Mari. Unfortunately, l have missed a step in the process, which I will be recording and uploading today. You need to make some changes to the Water Reservoir. You'll need to remove a little black plug at the base of the reservoir, and then it will work. If you still have your manual, have a look and it's the section after connecting the hose. Otherwise, revisit the channel tomorrow and you'll see the updated video. Apologies for the missing information. Cheers.

@@JustAwesomeCommercials thank you. In mine, the black plug has been always removed since they installed the hose, but I get the reservoir full of water all the time with every load, you think it could be the position of the hose draining to the sewer? Or maybe the blue filter needs to be installed? Thanks.
@JustAwesomeCommercials3 жыл бұрын
@@MariMartinez-gz6xp Hi Mari. The blue filter gets removed as part of the drain hose install. Technically speaking, your water reservoir cannot fill up if the plug has been removed as the water will drain through that hole. My guess is an issue with the height of the drain in comparison to the dryer. I can only suggest double-checking that the plug has been removed. I'm about to start uploading my updated video on this process. Give it a watch and just make sure that everything has been done. If it still doesn't work, let me know and I'll do some more investigating for you. Cheers

@@JustAwesomeCommercials thank you. Still having the same problem my dryer is installed on the top of my washer, the drain hose goes kind of at the same level than the sewer where the washer drains as well and the U part isn't installed it's put directly inside the pipe. Thanks
@JustAwesomeCommercials3 жыл бұрын
@@MariMartinez-gz6xp Hi Mari. I've just had another look at the manual and it does say to have the drainage hose going up from between 80 to 100cm. Maybe that's the issue? That would be difficult to solve if the dryer is already so high. All I can suggest at this point is to put a bucket on the ground and put the hose into the bucket to see whether gravity helps you out? Other than that, I don't know what else to suggest. I wish you the best of luck.

Hi Dave. It seems that l have missed an important step. There is a small black plug that needs to be removed at the base of the Water Container.
