It may surprise people from outside of the USA, but these would sell well in the USA. I know I would buy one if they were sold here. Problem is by the time they brought up to US crash standards, they would be priced so high they would no longer be good value for money.

There's a few people that own these in the US and do drive them in the cities - so apparently if you're in a state that doesn't require a car test and you just drive in the city - it's probably legal. One person in Oklahoma said the cops would follow him but he made sure to follow the street driving laws and so he never got pulled over. hahaha

I would love to buy one. I rarely need to drive more than 50 mph and rarely go more than 100 in one day. Town/local roads max speeds 20 to 50 mph. Would suit me fine.

If they imported these into the USA as a golf cart or RV, then they wouldn’t have to worry about the crash worthiness and they would sell. I know that if they didn’t cost very much, I’d buy one. We see a lot of side by sides running around on the roads in our area all the time
