Reminds me of how such classic Disney films had also filmed people dancing in costumes for the movies and then drew directly onto the film reel in order to have the animation be realistic. Like in Sleeping Beauty for Briar Rose's singing of Once Upon A Dream. The Hercules movie might have done the same for the muses with their songs!
