my favorite part of the vlog was easily where you were crying in bed because you didn’t feel like you met their standards, that is such a relatable part of the audition process as a performer and it hit so hard and it made me feel valid for my feelings. it’s absolutely terrifying being a performer especially when there’s only one spot and you’re potentially the one being chosen for it- while just dance is similar to what I do, it’s a completely different wheelhouse but you made the stakes here feel exactly the same. I’m currently in the audition process for a competitive performative percussion ensemble and I’m absolutely terrified, audition round two is this weekend, and all of your vulnerability in this video and then your pep talk at the end really did make me believe that I can keep fighting and that I can do this. thank you so much avery, you were the one who got me back into just dance and you’ve made me a better performer because of it. It's so inspiring to see you work so hard and the result was amazing. It really puts into perspective all the work it takes for a single one of these maps, let alone 40+. While I do play Just Dance, that feeling that you showed where you felt bad and that you weren't getting anything right in the dance really stuck out to me, since I've always felt that way about things I do, and seeing you finish off strong and create a map for JD2024 (LIKE YOU DID THAT) gave me a lot of hope for light at the end of the tunnel. Seeing you be so vulnerable with how you’re feeling breaks my heart because you are such an amazing dancer, when I got the game, your map was the first one I played and I was BLOWN AWAY with how amazing the map was. the process of making ur dream come true can be very scary, hard and can also mess with ur mental health, saying ur not good enough to make it happen- i been through this many times, and then when avery was going through it, it rly made me feel so bad for her, but im rly glad she enjoyed the rest of the experience

Watching a person realize their dream is an absolutely magical thing! For years I have purchased Just Dance because my son loves the game. He introduced me to your videos and they are something that we share and can talk about! It has been great watching this whole process! He was so excited to get this years game because of your map (now we have to buy 2 copies one for his PlayStation and one for my Xbox!). Congratulations and thanks for all of your videos! There was something insanely healing about watching you cry about not feeling good enough to do it and then later on you saying you felt more confident than ever and you felt ready. This is one of the greatest examples of passion, hard work, and the willing/drive to get to your dream. I remember watching you before you straight quit from burn out. a long time passed with no just dance content and you came back with such a realization that you missed having fun. all this leading to your actual dream coming true. congrats, proud of you, I hope to see you in the next game.
