You're right, it's poppy... but on top of that, it has a gospel vibe to it as well with the group vocal in the chorus. That taste of gospel makes a big contribution to the "inspiring, fighting" feeling. Interesting, since that vibe was also snuck into the final measures of Ego.

I totally agree, Boy With Luv was good but a bit too "flowery" and soft for me, I like "hard hitting" BTS way more, turns me on too, ha!
