Greggs is the biggest fast food chain in uk now. I was surprised as thought it was mainly a northern thing. Subway second and then McDonald’s. It’s great value for money - breakfast meal half the price of McDonald’s. Deserved number 1. Great series Deano

Peri peri pasta in the Co-Op is very tasty. I bought 4 sausage rolls in Morrisons for less than you paid for 1. I need to try the personal pizza from Papa John's as I miss the ones Pizza Hut used to do.

Quite partial to a Greggs Sausage Roll or Chicken Bake if I'm on the move. Its not too hard to see how Greggs got so big in the UK. As small independent bakeries closed over the years, there was such a gap in the market for a Branded bakery to step in.
