I do not understand how you read the quran and misunderstood the message. The Quran rejects trinity, the divinity of Jesus and confirms that the Bible today has been corrupted by the Christians. So you cannot be " accepting the Quran and the Last Messenger and remain a Christian. " It's a mockery of religious beliefs. Either you are a Christian or a Muslim. You cannot be both. Yes we can have respect for any human and their faith. Imran Hussein has been misleading his followers that the Orthodox Christians accept the Quran and the Prophet and remain a Christian but they remain a follower of Christ. I have immense respect for SIH. Having watched most of his lectures multiple times, I am in awe of his teachings which is backed up with evidence from the Quran. Where he is making an interpretation, he says so. He doesn’t force us to accept his thoughts, but I’d be surprised at people finding fault in his work. As we get closer to the end times, SIH lectures are becoming more and more relevant. If people don’t agree with him, I’d advise them to move on and find another sheikh to follow like sheep. No need to call him kaffir etc, I really fear they are only condemning themselves. Allah knows best!

I can remember the days when we were looking for Quranic translations to know the subject matters of the Quran. The first time I listened to Sheikh Imran Hussain was in awe especially on the subject of Riba in the eschatology series. Today after seeing the annihilation of Gaza, I reflect back of what I heard. This last 2 weeks many things happened. Non-mainstream news indicates that the petrodollar came to an end and that the agreement is not being renewed. At the same time countries are joining BRICS, Russia moved warships to Cuba, US youth face compulsory conscription(including some NATO countries), nuclear war treaties are dropped and escalation is happening as we speaking. The word that comes to mind is Malhama (the great war) which I learned from the Sheikh. I saw him appear in Russia at an international conference where he was speaking to Russian journalists about Islam. I can remember that he was criticized for this issue about Russia and Christian Orthodoxy(and I don't agree either). I personally could not comprehend why Western leaders were so obsessed with the destruction of Gaza and why Zionists were so obsessed with Armageddon(Jewish and Christian end of days). Then I realized that it is perhaps about the end of the petrodollar which controls basically every country as a world trade reserve currency(since 1944 Bretton Woods conference past the 1971 period when the gold standard was dropped) and a multipolar world is now emerging. The last thing I saw was 9 years of continuous bombing of Laos during the era of the Vietnam war that was similar to the last seven months in Gaza. And it was all about protecting Riba and fiat currency because both provide resources for nothing(a piece of paper printed in good faith with the inscription "in God we trust"). And all of us in the western world and beyond were caught out with home mortgages, car loans, student loans, healthcare aid, etc. except the poor who did not qualify for loans. And now we face being replaced by AI(which I by my own opinion regard as a candidate for Dabbatul Ard) in the workforce. Already you can see them being introduced in the Hajj. And one of them with the name Sophia has Saudi Citizenship. The drones that killed children playing table football in Gaza. The rise of crypto currencies, self-driving cars, mass surveillance with pinpoint facial recognition, conversation with human-like machines, intelligent tools and robotics that make humans obsolete in the fiat currency economy. I wouldn't have understood their purpose if I didn't watch the Sheikh. Especially when the designers of these technologies claim they feel god-like and later admit the fears of the speed and degree to which the intelligence of their inventions are going to surpass them in intelligence and cannot stop it. And we need to know about this because this is where the great deception lies. So i'm grateful for the Sheikh for his knowledge and the vigilance he instills because it looks like there is hard times ahead that we have to prepare for. PS already the Zionists plan to claim all land from the Nile to the Euphrates as the promised land which includes the Ka'aba.

I've followed Sheikh Imran Hossein for more than 10 year and have met him too. It's not the place of some young man to make Takfir of an elderly and learned man. I don't follow the Sheikh to learn Islam as I do not follow his sect, but I take great great interest in his research on global geopolitics, Islamic finance and economics, and our end times prophecies. I can't really think of anyone else who's speaking of these things on a mass scale.

I don't find any of Sheikh Imran Hosein's statements from the interview problematic. Even the sahaba told us that if you expect them to be perfect you are doing injustice to them. The attitude of students of knowledge should always be take what is beneficial and leave anything that's not. When you say "it only takes one drop of poison to contaminate something..." that is kind of an injustice to the Sheikh if I may say. None of us are perfect, and all that the Sheikh is inviting us to is to start thinking. Build our relationship to the Qur'an with the attitude of a thinking student of knowledge, not a parrot that repeats what's been taught to say. There is only one person that we can follow without question and that is Muhammad SalaLLAHu AlayHi waSalam and no one else. sahaba of his can make mistakes what more the scholars that came after them... so please, do justice to each other and make your choices based on the evidences that's been presented. I don;t see any problem questioning stuff especially if it does affect the course of history especially if this involves the Muslim Ummah. I don't see any of that problematic at all. I am forever grateful to Shaikh Imran Hussein, may All-h grant him health and prolong his life, for his encouragement to recite the entire Quran every month and I pray that he will share in the thawab (reward) of the spiritual joy that I had neglected for so many years. I strongly disagree with some of Shaikh Imran Hussein's views and interpretations of some Quranic verses. Nonetheless, I pray for his health and long life and I ask All-h to forgive him for his errors and to guide him aright wherever he has erred. That's one of many differences. Not only he doesn't invite to Islam (claiming "let the Qur'an do its job), he also attacks those who invites. The Messenger of Allah sent letters to rulers of the Roman empire and elsewhere inviting them to Islam. Also, Shekh Imran Hosein claims there verses with mistakes. He also rejects authenticated ahadith which don't sync in with his desires.

I think his takes on Riba and the global monetary system are on point, but I could never ingest his view about Christians accepting Quran yet staying Christian, as well as his other similar views. I also don't like his impatience (which got worse with age haha). One of the few Sheikhs I still trust is Sheikh Abderraouf ben Halima. He stays away from namecalling others and dedicates his efforts to helping others.

The point is that something must be reached before a person can be called a kafir. In my own understanding you cannot call someone a disbeliever/Kafer unless you know that this individual or group is already knows Islam but rejected it disbelieve in it!! The Qurán addressed the An-Nasara and the Jews as Ahlul-Kitab but for us without hesitation we proclaimed them all a kafer.!! so be careful because calling them all a kafer may be a disrespectful act to the Qur'an.

Those who did so are the true believers. The ummah (nation) of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) are called the believers because of their deep eemaan (faith) and conviction, and because they believe in all the past Prophets and in the prophesied events that are yet to come.” Commenting on the aayah in Soorat al-Baqarah, Ibn Katheer (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “What is meant is that every group believed in Allaah and the Last Day, which is the appointed Day of Reckoning, and did righteous deeds. But after Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was sent to both mankind and the jinn, true belief can only be in accordance with the way of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Whoever follows his way will not fear the future or grieve for what they leave behind.
