Justice League is a 2017 American superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name. Produced by RatPac-Dune Entertainment, DC Films, Atlas Entertainment, and Cruel and Unusual Films and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is the fifth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and the follow-up to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, the film features an ensemble cast including Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds. In the film, Batman and Wonder Woman recruit The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg after the death of Superman to save the world from the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons.
Warner Bros. began to develop a live-action Justice League film in 2007 with George Miller set to direct, but the project was canceled due to production delays and budgetary concerns. A Justice League film would re-enter development as part of Warner Bros' upcoming DC film slate in October 2014, with Snyder on board to direct and Terrio attached to write the script. Principal photography took place from April to October 2016. After Snyder stepped down from the film following the death of his daughter, Whedon was hired to oversee the remainder of post-production, including writing and directing additional scenes, as well as reshooting a large portion of the film, which changed many aspects of it; Snyder ultimately retained sole credit as director. With an estimated production budget of $300 million, Justice League is one of the most expensive films ever made.
Justice League premiered in Los Angeles on November 13, 2017, and was released in the United States on November 17, 2017. The film grossed over $657 million worldwide against a break-even point of $750 million, becoming a box office bomb and losing Warner Bros. Pictures an estimated $60 million. The film received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the cast performances but criticized the plot, pacing, and computer-generated imagery. Its tone was met with a polarized reception, with some appreciating the lighter tone compared to previous DCEU films and others finding it inconsistent. In the wake of its release, fans began to push for the release of Snyder's original version of the film; Warner Bros. decided to move forward with the project in February 2020. It was released as Zack Snyder's Justice League on HBO Max on March 18, 2021.

We would have HATED it!!! First, Superman changes sides because Darksied or one of his minions murdered Lois Lane!?! That sounded like hot garbage, Bruce Wayne was in good with Wonder Woman but somehow he ends up sexing Lois Lane? So out of character for Bruce, he would never do that to Clark. Especially not knowing if he'd go on a murder spree behind such a betrayal. Plus Bruce has so many options with women, why Lois Lane? I can see why Clark is with her, not really, but it at least makes sense. Lois humping Bruce and getting pregnant by him makes no sense at all, I don't even think she would care for Bruce just going off his reputation. That literally told us nothing, what we need to be discussing is the other members of the justice league, the JL is much bigger than superman, batman, cyborg, flash and aquaman,. Shazam, Martian Man Hunter, Hawkman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, they can even utilize the titans, but the same six Characters come on now, Hell they're bringing new characters in the MCU for the Avengers and justice league is a much bigger team. It's more than six of them in the cartoons and comics that had to take down Darkseid, I used to look at DC as being a little harder than the MCU but now I'm not. Movies are getting made about villains, who cares. What's really messed up is I like the DCU shows better than the actual movies, John Constantin or s supposed to be some what equivalent to Dr. STRANGE, judging from the movie, I can't tell, There's too many batman and superman movies with different actors, it's like DC doesn't know what they really want to do I'm disappointed

Im not against these characters having kids. But I hate this specific way they wanted to do. It doesn't humanize these, it lessens the character of these characters. Turns Lois into 304. Makes Superman into a cuck/step-dad. And makes batman/Bruce a really shitty friend to superman. & kinda seems like he took advantage of Lois in her grief. Just watching the older dcu, Batman vs Superman. Im looking at the potential in that franchise. I think the thing that the dcu doesn't have but the mcu, is either money, a road map, leadership, or something that i don't know. Its really too bad!!!!! And Ryan R, I think the green lantern was not bad and much better than alot of other films. Possibly if it were given the same money as other films, it would have been a better film. I would have love to see the second part with yellow vs green!!! Sorry! Just ranting!!!!!

What about Steel? He was a black Superman or at least one of the guys vying to replace Superman after his death. If that's the movie their doing, then this would make some sense at least. To give context to my comments, I rate Joss Whedon's Justice League an F. I would rate Zack Snyder's attempt a C- even without Studio interference. Start with casting. Why cast J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon if your not going to give him anything to do. Gadot, Eisenberg and Miller are poor choices for the source material and show a lack of understanding of the characters. Berry Allen is not comic relief, Cyborg shouldn't be used as a Maguffin or included on this team. Minus a Lantern, Black Canary was a missed opportunity and better dynamic to Momoa's angry man. This is the Justice League! The Injustice League is a side story. When you stick to the characters these stories write themselves. Lois living with Clark would never have an affair with Bruce. Preventing Darkseid from getting Anti-life would lead to a Great Darkness, the corruption of Superman and the deaths Wonder Woman and Aquaman, forceing the survivors underground to regroup and recruit. Justice League should be epic!

Well in comics, Superman killed Lois and his unborn kid cause he was drugged.. in other universes, I think it has to do with the loss of Lois and the anti life equation so in this case, maybe he made up a new way to corrupt Superman and that's by, making supe believe Bruce got her pregnant when actually, lex might have got a woman to get his sperm, used a drug on Lois where she wouldn't remember and fertilized her. So Superman wouldn't believe anything Bruce said because like most men, how would u believe your best friend didn't sleep wit your woman, but she is pregnant by him. It would work
