I always thought these were near-identical ports ala Aero the Acro-bat, Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure, etc… but these look like the products of two different teams! Interesting stuff!

Yup- he came from the dead with a flowing head of hair. His death and his subsequent return was one of the biggest things to happen in comics/video games back then.

Im generally a Sega fan, this is one of the cases i prefer the SNES version though, i think because that's the one I used to play.

The Genesis one got better designs with most heroes, but it also got Nic Cage as Superman. The Snes had better-looking women, Supes and Despero.

To the ones syaing that the MD looks better, waith until you play it. Is a trainwreck of a game. The snes at least is a working albeit simple fighting game.

@@BitsBeats Look at Aquaman or Batman sprites on SNES, they look cartoonish. On Genesis, they look more dynamic and has some charisma.

Not a fan of Superman’s brow on Sega… and Darkseid stance on SNES is much more in-character IMO. Everyone else is pretty clearly better on Sega. Well… I guess Wonder Woman might be near-equal, but for many (Aquaman!) it ain’t even a contest, Genesis clears easy.

Before injustice, this justice league game has something in mind. Even though the game has some bad reviews or something, IDK if It's going to hold up. But the injustice series is amazing.

Genesis standing animations most remind me of Blood Storm. Also women look sexier on the Super NES. Wonder Woman SNES > Wonder Woman Genesis

Altrough the Genesis version has floor scrolling this time, I prefer the graphics of the SNES version. But neither of both is a very good fighting game, both lack in combo possibilities and smooth gameplay. There's way better out there, for both consoles. It may be interesting for fans.
