That was a neat reference with Rorschach having the same entry line as the Question, since originally Watchmen was going to be the Charlton Comics characters that DC purchased (Peacemaker - Comedian, Captain Atom - Dr. Manhattan, Question - Rorschach, Nite Owl - Blue Beetle, etc...) until DC refused to allow the Question to be killed off and Alan Moore made alternate versions of the Charlton characters.

Isn’t Rorschach Racist the character Walter Korvacs is meant to depict a socially repressed mentally disturbed person with no real social life he is meant to be the vigilante Batman type archetype depicting a man with no real positive values to society and Posing his own beliefs to others and breaking the law to him is justified in his fucked up world view due to his lack of morals and integrity and his strong sense of personal justice in the book the other characters refer to him as a N*zi he isn’t a morally good person and the justice he does in the book aren’t for him doing it out of the goodness of his heart he was someone with no real goals in life or purpose he’s just a messed up guy with horrible racially insensitive values that’s supposed to show him not as cool but as just a person you don’t want to hang around

This tracks. Dr. Manhattan is way more powerful than Captain Atom. It's actually possible to kill Captain Atom. For Dr. Manhattan you'd need someone who could basically destroy the universe. Beerus could probably kill him, but not Shigaraki. Dr. M would just reconstitute from nothing.

(2) Mr. A did NOT appear in CHARLTON COMICS titles, but in some lesser known independent comics. (3) Mr. A is like a more radical version of the Question, but the two never appeared together. (4) TRIVIA: All of the above characters were created by Steve Ditko.

I feel like a lot of people either forget or don't realize that while Question is in most cases literally just a "violent Batman without the suit", he was created back when Batman wasn't a Detective and was just a crime-fighter. Bruce was re-written into the "World's Greatest Detective" a couple of years (1970) after Question was created (1967). Hell, if you want to go into detail, the "Detective" part wasn't that important to Batman's character untill the late 1980's, when it became a somewhat constant in his Comics. And even then it wasn't fully embraced untill the late 1990's with the "Long Halloween" Storyline.
