This stort kinda pissed me off. Thousands of youngs British girls were assulted by grooming gangs and the authorities were complicit. The idea that people would think they were racist was more important than protecting the innocent.

@@eleethtahgra7182 Actually no they believe the government was complicit so they believe nothing considering there have been few actual arrests, and many perpetrators are walking the streets in the same towns their victims live in.

There are several cases like this here in Missouri where innocent people were found guilty in the race to get someone prosecuted.

Little bit about British Law. You can only be remanded in custody AFTER being charged with a crime. You can NOT be jailed pending enquiries!!!! You can be Bailed, but Jail? does not work that way. Just nit picking here.

Was working on a car while listening to this story ... (BMW tech in Georgia USA) .... I'd thought they charged and arrested him and remanded him to custody due to a capital crime still no body just clothing she hadn't worn to school ... I suspected her uncle early on due to his zealous nature trying to keep the OP jailed forever... Martha's demise was the clincher ... and thought OPs wife had been involved from the jump ... good story, I like longer stories but it worked out 😊 God Bless from America!!

In Mexico you are guilty until proven innocent. Meanwhile you are in jail unless you are bailed out.

Justice delayed is justice denied. This is a tragic story. He should have taken the money they offered him. It can't buy back the time but he could have had what would amount to a retirement.

I seriously doubt anyone falsely imprisoned and found innocent wouldn't want retribution and sue those that falsified the evidence. Time stolen can never be replaced with cash but I would want a shit ton of it.

When I was in - I studied law and was able to fight the incarceration by filing motions for violation of sentencing rules regarding legal process . Basically they have certain maximum times for pre-trial - sentencing - arragnment - basically they had 48 hours to do it and over 30 days went by and still wasn't completed . I was let out the next day and I knew it was going to happen . I told all the other inmates what I did and when I would be released . They were all in line when I was leaving saying - Hook me up - Help a brother out . LoL !!

Hi. An excellent story about injustice and the machinations of the actual guilty parties. Unfortunately, the desire to obtain convictions instead of justice is a shortcoming of many prosecutors 👍🏻👍🏻

Damn you, KZbin. You constant interruptions with inane commercials is unconstitutional. Your forced viewing of commercials is tantamount to abuse, and will cost you viewers if it continues. The presenters of successful videos will find other outlets as their viewerships refuse to participate. STOP THE DAMN COMMERCIALS! They are neither requested nor wanted.
