God demands perfection. If you will to be justified by the law, you must keep, obey the law perfectly, in thought, word and deed. If you believe you can do this, you do not know Gods holy character.

@@lisamarie6611 again, I don't know what you're saying. Are you saying only a damned (hell bound) person would say God demands perfection ?

Simply put, God alone justifies. Men do not have the right, 'for all have sinned'. God alone is 'just and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus' (Rom.3:26).

Read gal 2 when he rebukes peter for treating gentils differently for not being circumcised. Paul uses the term “works of the law”

I believe before salvation and after this applies...before salvation no man is justified by the law...or works...good works after salvation comes in and flows out as a fruit of the spirit, christ in us...only.....and God will test those works by fire (His word)...those works after salvation are sometimes seen from a religious standpoint from the outside, as a salvation by works ,in order to be saved..when it is actually the outflow of christ in us.....but the unsaved man or woman cannot really grasp , how this is so.. in psalms david says...I shall run thy way of thy commandments, when thou shall enlarge my heart.... that's run!! To Agree...a change of heart and desire to please God. And which his laws are written in our hearts.....Christ in you...(great video)

There’s no such thing as “ceremonial va moral” for if anyone breaks any 1 off the law is guilty of it COMPLETELY, with that being said, justification comes through faith in Christ and thus the law becomes established . Romans 3:31

The statement that breaking any law makes one guilty of it completely is true, of course - but that statement does not, in any way, change whether there is or isn't a difference between 'ceremonial' or 'moral' laws. In my country, there could be a law against murder, and a law against tax evasion. Two different laws. If I break either of them, I am rightly called a law-breaker either way. Me being a law-breaker doesn't mean there aren't still different laws.

Under the law the wealthiest Jews could afford to sin, sacrifice a calf, and make merry with their friends; and because their heart was not in it, and far from God, they would do this again, and again (searing their conscience, not perfecting it, Heb.9:9,10:1-2). Was God's mercy 'in all of their thoughts'? 'I think not'...these 'deeds of the law' were not mixed 'with faith' (Heb.4:2). The LORD 'looketh upon the heart'!

Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Can you feel your justification
@kimmykimko11 ай бұрын
Feeling is subjective. I feel a lot of things everyday. I KNOW I have salvation by the finished work of Jesus. I don't trust in my "FEELINGS."

Christ be with you St Paul is limiting it to the ceremonial work laws We see this when he tells us that faith must establish the law not abolish it. (Rom 3:31) We see it when we look at Rom 4 and see the examples given are Abrahams circumcision and King Davids forgiveness without Animal sacrifice. (rom 4:1-12) we see in the fact that St Paul tells us Gods promise to Abraham came through through the righteousness of faith, (Rom 4:13) yet we are told it is fulfilled Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. (Gen 26:4-5) If we wish to partake in Christ promise we must obey him (Heb 5:8-9) God bless you
