I remember this movie, and I remember that "death" scene because it was weirdly impactful on me as a kid, the fact that Lara, who all movie had been such a snotty brat, was offering Justin kindness and genuine care in a moment of grief. She wanted to know who the man was to Justin, either as a way to let Justin speak on his life or as a way to gauge how to proceed with comfort. It was so sweet in my eyes
