Im just getting out of an abusive situation after almost 10 years and let me tell you, if this is what seeps out in public, what happened behind closed doors is 100% worse. The things Justin does to Hailey are the same type of passive aggressive things my ex used to do to me in public when he couldn’t be more outwardly abusive. When the paparazzi told her “I like your watch!” and she says “Thank you, I bought it myself!” Tells me that Justin frequently tells her that she was nothing before she was with him or holds his finances over her head.

I understand to a degree that when you're a parent if your children are doing things wrong you should talk to them and tell them that you don't agree with it. However...you can't make them stop. You can talk to them about it but at the end of the day you can't stop them simply bc you're the parent...to assume she didn't talk to him isn't very fair. She could have and maybe he didn't listen. I'm a recovering addict. My parents did everything they could to stop me from doing drugs but at the end of the day I'm an adult and they can't hold me down and tie me in the basement. Tney had to "let me go" until I was ready. They still helped me when I needed help with food or a shower but nothing more and nothing less. When I came to them it was bc I was ready. What I "learned" from part of JB's documentary is she met him when he was recovering/addict, apparently. Who knows what he's going through...and what she's going through. Their attitudes and behaviors are disgusting/immature. They also appear extremely codependent. Stockholm syndrome kinda situation. Both of them. I wish they both could separate themselves as a husband and wife (at least temporarily), and go through treatment (including individual therapy) alone for a while. They needed help 2 years ago and I hope they're mentally growing, at least a little bit. If they grew as people, genuinely, maybe things would get better.
