It's been something to watch what this amazing young man has been through. I remember standing listening to him play on THE steps to seeing him on 100 Huntley St to being snapped up by the music industry. Watching his pain as he tried to so what he was meant to do in bringing beautiful music to the world , while ppl criticized him called him horrible names saying he looked like a girl to then watching as the industry tried to swallow him up to the pt he turned to drugs, alcohol to TRY to stop the emotional trauma he was clearly suffering from bc of the pure evil men who abused him and TRIED to control him. To Justin marrying Hailey when he began his homecoming. Where healing began to happen. Where his beautiful wife worked together with him on his healing journey. Then to see Justin return to his roots where he began true healing with full support of his wife, mom and many of his close circle of trusted people. To now where they have a handsome beautiful child while he redirects the course of HIS music career takes back control of HIS life . What an amazing young man you've become Justin! As I've watched you come full circle I have to say how incredibly proud I am to have been able to watch you grow into such an amazing young man and now husband and father! I met your mom yrs ago after the Huntley show appearance not that she'd remember me and of course inadvertently met you while standing listening to you singing on those steps where it all began. Im in Mossley ON and I got to Stratford often for many things but primarily to visit Chocolate Barrs and Rheos! I just wanted to say how much respect I have for you. You've been through the battles and wars and have PREVAILED despite the enemy trying to take your soul God ALWAYS had you and it's a beautiful site to see you return to your roots. Not that you'll ever see much less read my comment I felt compelled to comment. My 11yo grandson is a HUGE fan and we watched the documentary together it's given him such a HUGE lift bc he has suffered more trauma than any 11yo should ever have to including the loss of his 18mo brother from a tragic accident to his father not wanting anything to do with him since he was 1.5yrs old to being bullied beyond belief and SO much more. You're giving him HOPEand helping him to keep close to God and ive NO doubt you're doing this for SO many children, teens and beyond. People really forgot that he was a CHILD when his whole life changed so drastically. I hope he finds what his soul needs for him to be at peace. Nobody can understand the amount of pressure from every direction and had all of his time planned out all for entertainment purposes and what he was exposed to growing up only ppl who start their career so young could somewhat relate but nobody will ever comprehend it.
