Justin could always sling it with the deep ball. The problem were the anticipation throws. He threw to guys when they were open not throwing into the windows when they were going to be open. As a bears fan, it was incredibly exciting to watch him when the plays broke down and he jus made magic happen. I hope he’s coached better and fulfills his potential.

They were 10-7 with the 40th ranked QB and practice squad ILBs last year. Now With at least serviceable QBs, Queen, and the best ILB in the draft now there’s no reason this team can’t win 11-13 games. However, Steelers are the Steelers so I’ll also say 8-8-1 is very likely.

I’m a Bears fan and watch every game. While Fields did struggle late in games there were also some key drops on balls that were on point. A pass to Equenameous St. Brown that was dropped, a pass to Velus Jones Jr, a pass to Tyler Scott, all late fourth quarter passes that were on point but dropped. Yes, I agree with the decision to draft Williams, but I do think Fields has a ton of potential and am looking forward to his opportunity in Pittsburgh. He is a warrior and tough as nails.

Bears fans here... was always good in preseason. Regular season things move way too fast for him and he cant read a defense.

I recall the connection to DJ was great in the offseason. Too bad no one else was involved. JF1, wish you the best, beat out Russ and get us a 4th round pick.

Fields has a good deep ball and insane athleticism. However, he struggles past his first read and doesn't pull the trigger fast enough. As a Bears fan, I'm happy the JF1 era is behind us. I don't see him beating out Russ

No one said Justin Fields wasn't accurate. Justin's problem is that he holds onto the ball too long , waits till he sees the receiver open before he throws the ball, leading to him taking unnecessary sacks.

Fields looked good at Bears camp all the time. Then game time he’s a deer in headlights

Not to worry, Fields will slowly let everyone down.

Justin Fields not being accurate was a lie the media spread so the bears could take Williams. Most of us bears fans were in favor of keeping fields but shows like this influenced the bears in to believing those lies. He was never inaccurate.

Nobody in the media said Fields was inaccurate. You are 100% inaccurate about that statement. What they did say is he can't read a defense, he holds the ball too long, he doesn't protect the ball and can't process an egg. Oh MOST Bear fans did not want to keep Fields. Where did that come from? Stop being a fruit. JF sucks and will never start in NFL after this year.
