Why doesnt he fight like this? A lot more technical, is he sparring with the wrong gloves or something? Perhaps getting complacent sparring with padded gloves?

I do Kung fu problem is with sparring with 16oz though is that you can basically sit in the pocket and hide behind the 2 giant shields that are your hands. But you cant do that with mma gloves. Gaethje fights mma like hes wearing boxing gloves
