The city I lived next to had a woman street sweeper operator who worked with equipment for years. She had a sign made on her sweeper back bumper that said- Watch where you are driving This machine’s operator has her mind in the gutter.

I had the chance to drive this myself. Was kind of surprised considering I've never driven a street sweeper before. I did a great job cleaning their parking lot and only removed a small amount of pavement 😁. It's surprisingly easy to drive for such a big vehicle.

Isn't it a bit ironic that NYC's department of sanitation, who's motto starts with the word "safety", doesn't require its employees to wear a face mask in closed spaces with other people? While during that time everybody is living through one of the biggest sanitary crisis of our time...

Kevin Barry it's not just sanitation workers that get a good salary, lots of NYC jobs get good or above average pay because of NYC's (& surrounding areas) cost of living. Average 1 Bedroom Apartment in a bad neighborhood a.k.a. "The HOOD" cost $1,800 to $2,300 a month. Wanna live in a "Good Neighborhood?" A 1 Bedroom in a "Good Neighborhood" will cost you from $2,800 to $3,500 a month. Utilities not included, except water. Pets will be more, will a $500 to $1000 non refundable upfront payment.
