I think the reason they are making a big deal out of Herbert possibly being introverted is due to Marcus Mariotta. Scouts made a QB connection and an Oregon connection to prejudge Herbert. One of Mariotta's biggest faults is perceived to be his lack of speaking up and being vocal. Everyone should be judged individually, but I guess it is human nature to compare. Especially if two people have similar backgrounds like introverted QBs that played at Oregon University.

This makes me so happy as a Ducks fan. Justin is criminally underrated due to the system ran by their abysmal Offensive Coordinator. Sims always breaks if down well how he had no one to throw to half the time he dropped back. Can’t wait to see him in the NFL.

The criticism he receives is ridiculous. I get that they criticize his form of play, that’s a commentators job. But they criticize his personality and say it’s not one of a quarterback. He’s going to be a good quarterback and with the right team an amazing one.

Herbert's film is a red flag, he misses too many quick outs, which doesn't look good compared to Tua's laser accuracy and Burrow's godly ball placement. However, I love his demeanor and personality and I genuinely hope he is successful.
