Justin Meram Assists Last Second Goal to Qualify RSL for the Playoffs vs Fierce Rivals Sporting KC

Real Salt Lake's Iraqi player Justin Meram assists Real Salt Lake's goal of the season with a bicycle kick finished off by a Damir Kreilach volley in the final moments of the season finale against Sporting Kansas City. Justin subbed in in the 71st minute and changed the game. Prior to Justin's introduction, RSL had only 1 shot on target. The super sub created many chances and threatened the keeper with dangerous shots before his acrobatic scissor kick saved RSL's season. The match was held in Kansas City on Decision day, 07/11/2021, the final day of the regular season. Kansas City needed a win to go top of the Western Conference and Real needed a win to edge Los Angeles Galaxy and LA FC for the final playoff spot.
