I Remember when I raced a Suzuki GT750 back in 75 with my Z1 900 , he had a huge jump on me out of the hole ,but I eventually ran him down at 120 mph. Back in my day the H2750 AND the GT750 were two of the most wickedest bikes to ride .Kaplan America ,you are the man . Always bring the good stuff back for a visit.

What Ken Kaplan does is awesome. Keeping the motorcycle community together, thriving and able to put their talents to good use in a profitable manner is what this world needs more of. U feel the passion for two strokes and all things two wheels in his voice.

Justin is an awesome guy. I hope he'll be there when I come up to meet everybody. Gorgeous bike be has, and that exhaust note is heavenly. Love the sound of his DelKevic Pipes. They must cost a pretty penny, if they can even still be found.

The sound reminds me of the triple snowmobiles of my childhood. There's nothing like a 2 stroke triple. They sound angry. That's a great bike!

That factory is fascinating. Looks like there's a house in front of it. Owner's residence originally? External video tour of the building and history would be cool

I have owned one of those . M model . Twin Disc frontend and Handmade Chamber Exhaust . Using the Factory Headers is essential to maintain the Midrange that these were known for . The Chambers give you about 10 - 15 more at the top , without NECESSARILY being much louder than stock . Just more crackly . They GO LIKE STINK . And the Frame is not to bad . Handle quite acceptably and Stable .

I love these. I've had a J model with Allspeed expansion chambers for 15 years. Great sound. However they're in a very mild state of tune. They normally dyno at around 50bhp, with another 5bhp or so with the pipes. If you search for a road test from back then you'll find they struggled to clock more than about 105mph, which most owners these days don't go anywhere near lol. I must contest Justin's claim that most Js have the disc brake conversion. The vast majority have the 4ls drum. Just look in the classifieds for confirmation 😉

So this bike is a bike that was offered by the factory minus the modifications? Or is this a bike that he built? Did it actually come from the factory with a three cylinder, liquid cooled two-stroke? I am amazed that it's a 1972 and it's liquid cooled. That's amazing.
@adamroper1197

No worries mate. The bike is fairly standard , besides the carb jetting and pipes. I remember when I was about 4 (mid 80s) a farmer gave us one that wasn't running too good. It sat behind our shed, getting rusty until dad gave it to someone else. I used to sit on it all the time and pretend to ride it. It's the bike that started my motorcycle fever. I'd like to get another one some day. @@ar2043

In the curves and corners they handle like an old Mac truck. I almost got killed on one because I thought I could go through a curve faster than the bike was capable of. Then I got a GS1000E and found out how bikes are supposed to handle!!
