I don't understand how come we don't see this actor more often. I thought his acting was incredible during the show.

Graces monologue a few episodes prior was possibly the most powerful in the series and had not flashbacks or cut aways, just like Nora's and Grace was absolutely telling the truth.

We didn't see flashbacks because it hadn't been shown to the audience. Flashbacks were only peppered throughout a scene when they were already diegetic to the audience.

Nora IS lying, but not to chase Kevin away. Kevin crafted a lie/story for them so they could wipe the slate clean and get a fresh start. That lie was not sufficient for Nora bcz it still gave her no closure on the loss of her family. Her lie was crafted to account for that, and the only way she could continue living was to embrace that lie, no matter what. That lie was the only thing holding her existence together. She NEEDED kevin to accept her "story" unconditionally, or she could not risk him shattering her illusion. Kevin may suspect the lie, but doesn't care. He's happy to toss his story aside and fully attach himself to hers bcz he understands that all that matters is that they be together. That was the epiphany of his last death dream sequence, and the motivation behind his subsequent years long search for Nora. Perfect ending.

Nora is NOT lying

@@friedhotwings I don’t think Nora went through. I want to believe her story, but I just can’t. She had been specifically told not to breathe in the metals so she was holding her breath and waiting. Then suddenly had a panicked look, opened her mouth, and it looked like she was about to scream, “Stop!” The only person who could have revealed the truth to us was Matt and he’s dead. If I came back from the other side my first stop would be to the scientists who sent me through so I could tell them what they’re doing is working and provide them that comfort. Obviously Nora was pretty traumatized at this point so I don’t blame her for not doing that. But I find it hard to believe that if they did have a machine on the other side that they sent her back in, that nobody else would pop back over and be like, “hey guys, we lived through the journey, also everyone who departed is alive, all is well👌” and that it wouldn’t become worldwide news.

@@franciscoluarca lol I posted that before watching the whole thing. And I mean I get what Justin's saying now but still. Lol Kevin and Nora went through so much shit together I doubt she would have to lie so that Kevin wouldn't think she was "crazy". I'm sure they're both more than well aware of each other.

There's plenty of actual evidence pointing toward Nora telling the truth. In season 3 episode 8 Nora shows up at the dance and is immediately offered beads that we later learn represent the sin of man. Nora rejects them/sin and reinforces the title of the episode pointing at Nora being a Christ like figure, much like Kevin. In season 3 episode 1 After talking to the police about Departures she says about Tom's surprise not being a surprise "it's fun to pretend" and Nora's final story was anything but fun. Nora goes to the Nun at night looking for her pigeons and sees the man who was clearly having sex with the Nun. And stays true to who Nora truly is, not letting lies pass. Only settling for the Truth. At the dance Nora has been feeling out the situation with Kevin and trying to get him to break from his fake story, then finally dancing can't take the lie any further and leaves Kevin, not being able to settle with his happy lie. Season 3 episode 1 is titled The Book of Kevin. We learn that his resurrections make Jon, Matt, and Michael see him as a new Christ figure and write a biblical book about him and his journey. Season episode 8 is titled The Book of Nora. At the end we learn Nora's story about going to the departure, and coming back. She was in a sense resurrected, much like Kevin. And throughout the final episode we see the goat given the beads representing the sins of the world and released as a symbolic sacrifice. Later on, Nora finds that goat being choked and killed by those beads or sins and frees the goat putting the beads on herself and putting the sins of man on her shoulders. She is as much a Christ figure as Kevin is, earning her own Book of Nora title. In the first season we see Nora unable to replace the paper towels as because of what happened with her and her children at the moment of the departure. As we see in the last episode she has a full role showing that she has moved passed her inability to make since of or blame herself to what happened to her kids. She has made peace with herself in that matter and proceeds to place the beads/sins of the world on them. She is showing us that she no longer has that longing of what happened, she is resolved. When the two women running the machine tell her about the creater being the first one sent through, it was clear that information wasn't part of what they normally told people going through the machine. They seeminglytold her off hand to mock Nora. It's seems likely that the 120ish people that went through before her weren't privy to that information and thus wouldn't be able to find or locate the creator.

A sort of closure. Sometimes people believe a lie to get some closer. Coz if u think about it, what she says is quiet impossible but well its all about perspectives the show.

Deep fake! Lol! I think they if they did it was to spread calmness they sought. To the truth Kevin can't go back and has a ❤ condition cuz his twin took the key out of his chest/❤?,. Nora= faith, (she went and came back. ) The older gal I can't recall her name presently, lost her faith. (All art is to be perceived and assimilated in a personal way, perspective, WHAT U GOT OUT IF IT IS ALL THAT MATTERS. Cuz as the show points out clearly miracles do exist. HALLELUJAH
